Nuria Trius

Biography

Núria Trius was born in 1946 in Barcelona. She had an early interest in the fine arts. Early in her career, Trius worked in graphic and textile design, receiving national and international awards for her fabric prints.

She now devotes her time fully to painting at her studio at L’Escala, a small fishing village north of Costa Brava. There, the views of the open, ever-changing sea inspire her bold and colorful landscapes. Trius exhibits internationally—her work can be seen in Europe, the United States and Brazil.
