Elli Milan

Biography

Born and raised in the islands of Hawaii, John and Elli Milan honestly feel they never compete with their creations and even work on another’s pieces if one gets "stuck." Formal training for both artists includes the Savannah College of Art and the University of Georgia.

Elli loves to create collages from her photos and memories of her world travels. Strong light sources, multiple planes of space, and a variety of warm colors infused with figurative abstracts radiate from her canvas.

John has the same passion for painting, constantly drawing and sketching. He loves to paint small objects in great detail. John is very meticulous and highly values good craftsmanship. Perspective and balance are important elements in his work.
