Samuelle Richardson’s earliest art influences were those of the Byzantine and Romanesque periods. She studied Art History at the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain; Textile Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY; Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY; and Ecorche Studies at the New York Academy of Art In New York, NY. Richardson became an artist because she enjoys “the action of building something and the regularity of the process.” Says the artist; “ I love it when an artist’s frank expression yields a disarming sense of humor.” Richardson’s works have appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions in California, New York and Italy; and her images have appeared in such publications as San Francisco Magazine, The New Yorker and World Business.
